I can't believe how time flies! Austin was 1 week old yesterday. He loves to eat and sleep and does not like bath time or having his diaper changed. My mom has been here and we have loved everything she has been able to do for us. Austin has had a bad case of jaundice and has had to be put under some special lights for treatment. He had to lay in this mini "tanning bed" for 2 solid days and nights. We all took shifts in watching over him during the night in his little bed. It was so sad not to be able to hold him or play with him. He had to be under the lights 24/7 except to eat and be changed. But he is slowly getting better and looking less yellow. Other than that he is so fun to cuddle and hold. I love this little guy so much!

Baby Austin is Here!
Austin David Graff was born on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 7:14 am. (Also my mom's birthday!) He is so precious and we love him so much! I was suppose to be induced on the following Sunday, but Austin had plans of his own. I finished teaching summer school on Friday, and that night around midnight as Matthew and I were watching a movie at home, my water broke! So we went to the hospital and I labored all night. I will say that I loved my epidural and even dozed a couple of times in the night through contractions! By around 6:45 in the morning I had dialated completely and the doctor was called in. I pushed for 30 minutes and out he came! Matthew was so good through it all and really helped me during the whole process. Overall I had a very positive labor and delivery and am very grateful for that!
Austin came out with a head full of blonde hair (though it did look red at first). He weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long. We just love him so much!

12 Days Left!
Wow, our baby is really almost here! My doctor has said that I really could deliver anytime! I am dilated to a 3 1/2 and effaced 80%! I still have 5 days of teaching summer school left and I am just hoping that no action happens while working! We hopefully have everything ready and organized. I'll be honest, I am a little nervous but also very excited and anxious to see our son!

Fun-Filled Week
Last week was like a vacation for me even though I didn't really go anywhere. I have been teaching summer school but I took the whole week off because we had company in town. Alexi, my best friend from Texas came into town, (Matthew flew her up for a Mother's Day/birthday present)since I won't be able to travel to Texas this week and be a bridesmaid in her wedding! (She gets married in 2 days!) Also, Jenna, Cole and Cade came into town mostly to visit with Cole's family but we snuck in lots of time to visit with them. I don't know the last time that Alexi, Jenna and I were all able to spend time together for more than about an hour! It was so fun to catch up and hang out. We really could just talk and laugh for hours on end. Jenna and I also got to celebrate our 24th birthdays together!
To add to this great week, Aubrey, my sister-in-law, threw me a baby shower! It was very fun and we got such cute baby stuff! Thanks to Granny and Aubrey for planning and putting on a fabulous baby shower! Here are some pictures of my fun-filled week! Now its back to summer school up until the baby comes!
Hanging out with Cade!
